The main cause of climate change is the greenhouse effect. Certain gases present in the atmosphere retain part of the thermal radiation emitted by the earth’s surface, causing global warming.
Many of these greenhouse gases are naturally present. However, human activity has caused the concentration of some of them to increase in the atmosphere, especially carbon dioxide (CO₂). The objective of this change is to transform the energy system, enhancing renewable energies, the circular economy, and other forms of emissions reduction.
This movement involves raising awareness about the responsible and sustainable use of energy, as well as establishing energy efficiency guidelines through the electrification and digitalization of all processes and sectors of the economy.
